Pat Durbin | Daytona Beach 2018 Instructor
Pat Durbin has a love for pictorial quilts. She started quilting in 1993 and moved into art quilting in 2004. You will see her latest adventures in many quilt shows. She enjoys sharing her unique methods with quilters eager to try something different. Having been a sewer all of her life, making art quilts seemed a natural way to express the artist within. Pat’s quilt, FOREST WALK is part of the permanent collection of the National Quilt Museum in Paducah, KY. Pat also has a love of writing. She has written four art quilt books: Fabric + Paint + Thread = Fabulous, Mosaic Picture Quilts, Mosaic Landscape Quilts, and A Walk in the Woods. Her quilts have been published in major publications including American Quilter, Quilter’s Newsletter, SAQA Journal, The Quilt Life, National Quilt Association newsletter, Quilt Magazine, and Machine Quilting Unlimited.
