Marlene Oddie | Des Moines 2017 Instructor
Marlene Oddie’s designs have won ribbons locally, regionally, and internationally and have been selected for various publications. She writes regularly for the Country Register and was a finalist in McCall’s Quilt Design Star 2011. An Electric Quilt Artist and Island Batik Ambassador, she blogs with designing and quilting tutorials at kissedquilts.blogspot.com and teaches wherever there is an interest. In 2013, she opened a quilting studio in Grand Coulee, Washington. Given Marlene’s background as an industrial and systems engineer and a project manager in aerospace and financial services, her designs often come from engineering perspectives. She loves turning ideas into reality, especially a quilted item that can be cherished for years. Find out more at kissedquilts.com.
