Fall Paducah 2019
Pat Delaney is an accomplished domestic machine quilter who has finally decided what she wants to be when she grows up! She knew she had fallen in love with making quilts when she gave up her ski instructor job of 25 years to share her joy of quilting. Pat’s quilts have appeared five times in the AQS QuiltArt Engagement Calendar, as well as in numerous books and magazine articles. Her many awards include Best of Show at AQS QuiltWeek – Des Moines in 2013, a First Place award at the 2011 International Quilt Festival in Houston, a blue ribbon and Best Machine Quilting Award at Vermont Quilt Festival in 2013, the AQS Best Machine Workmanship Award in Lancaster in 2010, and Best of World in 2007 at the World Quilt and Textile Show. Pat has authored two self-published books, Narrow Binding Perfection and Loop Binding Perfection, and she is known for her distinctive “Pat tracks” quilting style and love of color. All of Pat’s work is done on a domestic machine. Visit her website at crabtreelane.com.
