The set includes a half-square, a square, a quarter-square, and 60-degree and 45-degree diamonds, as well as a hexagon. Pat has designed 36 different 4-inch block patterns. All you have to do is cut, sew, and create your own Miniature Sampler Quilt. You might even decide to use just a single pattern and repeat it for a more traditional quilt. This snazzy quilt is constructed using scrappy pieced rectangle units made with Studio 180 Designs Split Rects tool. These units are rectangles divided with a diagonal seam that will slant either left or right. When strategically placed, an interesting pattern of floating diamonds emerges in the design. During class, students will be learning the construction processes associated with the Split Rects tool. All cutting and trimming will be done with a single tool. This is a great class for quilters of all levels, loaded with machine piecing hints and tips. Spend the morning with Deb and take home something you’re proud of.

Deb Tucker’s Rapid Fire LeMoyne Star tool is designed to give the choice of ten different block sizes that range from 3″ to 12″ when finished. The class project is a sampler of all the available size options, so students will get a chance to try them all and will end up with a marvelous wall quilt.
