In this class you can blow away those creative cobwebs to make quilts with a view. Let your choice of fabric dictate the final setting. There are innovative tips and ideas to give you all the help and inspiration to make these Attic Window blocks sew simple. Choose to make a pillow with four blocks, or start a tablerunner or quilt.

Wow! Just look at how this quilt moves! You can fast stitch this quilt in no time using Karin’s wonderful fast geese techniques. Scrappy white and cream fabrics have been used to create this swirly snowstorm on a dark night but you can change the theme with your own fabric color choice. Think of leaves blowing around on a blustery day or a whirling sandstorm! In this class you will be shown at least 2 of the geese techniques from her book Fast Flying Geese QuiltsKarin will also demonstrate her speed cutting techniques and suggest ideas for quilting and embellishment.

#37522, Kathleen Wheels Using Your Layer Cakes

A great way to use a Layer Cake of precut 10″ fabric squares. Or cut 25″ x 10″ squares from your stash. Either way you use multi-fabric pinwheels to create this beautiful design. The pinwheels are easily stitched and then the blades curved and embellished. The curve is just sew simple. The waste from this fantastic technique is used to make a border. Making this block produce both the pinwheel and small triangles ready for use in your border – two for one! How simple is that?
