Phyllis Twigg Hatcher | Spring Paducah 2018 Instructor
Phyllis Twigg Hatcher has taught quilting in the Australian outback as well as throughout the United States, and she is a former board member of The Quilters Hall of Fame. Phyllis has appraised over 3,000 quilts as an American Quilter’s Society Certified Appraiser of new, vintage, antique, and art quilts since 1999. She is the author of Victorian Redwork Sampler Quilt and has published articles in the Quilting Quarterly magazine of the National Quilting Association, as well as in Quilters Newsletter. Phyllis was the curator of several quilt exhibits, including “Small and Smaller: 100 Years of Crib Quilts and Doll Quilts” with Judi Gunter at the Vermont Quilt Festival and Quilter’s Hall of Fame, and “More Is Better” at two national quilt shows.
