Cheryl See is an award-winning quilter who is well-known for her English paper-pieced quilts. Her quilt I MUST BE HEXED included 17,802 hexagons and won numerous awards, including Most Remarkable Achievement in Classic Patterning at the 2006 National Quilting Association Quilt Show in Columbus, Ohio. STAR STRUCK is a contemporary English paper-pieced quilt which won the Best Hand Workmanship Award at AQS QuiltWeek in Paducah, Kentucky in 2012. It is now part of the permanent collection of the National Quilt Museum, and the pattern can be found in her book Star Struck and Starlette. In the summer of 2013, Cheryl was honored to be the featured artist at the Virginia Quilt Museum in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She was a guest on The Quilt Show in 2014, which featured her first book, Not Just Hexies. More recently, HAWAIIAN IMPROV won Best of Show at Mid-Atlantic Quiltfest 2017 and Smoky Mountain Quilt Show 2018, as well as several Viewers’ Choice ribbons.
