Don’t miss your chance to spend all day on your own longarm machine! In this class, students will learn the basic skills necessary to get started with longarm quilting. In the first half, Amanda will teach tips and tricks for loading your quilt, getting the right thread tension, and conquering stitch-in-the-ditch. Students will then practice how to stabilize a block and transition from ruler work to free-motion quilting, all while getting a full day’s practice on their very own longarm machine. This is your chance to start at the very beginning with no pressure and plenty of fun, no sharing required.
