At each AQS QuiltWeek event, the American Quilter’s Society partners with a local charity. This year AQS, the Racing Fingers Quilt Guild, and quilters attending the show will be making Fidget Quilts for Alzheimer’s patients.
Look for Sit & Sew Fidget Quilts in the Exhibit Hall and stop to sew a small 20″ quilt that will be donated to a local patient with Alzheimer’s. Quilts are made from a variety of fabrics to create texture, and embellishments like ribbons, cords, buttons, pompoms, empty spools, and other items are added to make a perfect fidget quilt. All supplies are provided. We can make a difference!
