We have all used the tried-and-true method of standing and staring to design our quilting. While this sometimes works, there is a much easier and quicker method of designing. Come join Lisa as she shares her Divide and Design technique and learn how to translate that to your quilts! Students will turn a simple pieced top (provided) into a one-of-a-kind quilt! After taking this design class, you’ll never be stumped at the quilting phase again!

Learn how to achieve the look of a longarm with hand quilting by starting with the basics. Students will start with the quilter’s knot and rocking the needle to make areas “pop” with trapunto, cording, and quilting that is anything but traditional. You’ll even learn how to fill in background areas with free-motion quilting by hand. Learning from this multiple-award-winning quilter will totally change how you look at the art of hand quilting.
