Everyone has gotten to the end of a quilt pattern and read with dread the words “Quilt as Desired.” What exactly does this mean? This class will talk about different ways to quilt your quilts, such as what quilting patterns complement piecework versus appliqué and straight lines versus curves. Kris will also discuss quilting density, which type of thread to use, and ways to plan out your quilting with minimal marking. Please bring your “trouble tops”, and Kris will talk about how to quilt as many as possible. Learn how to quilt your work from the winner of the 2018 APQS Best Movable Machine Workmanship Award at AQS QuiltWeek® – Spring Paducah. Supplies are not required for a lecture, although you may want to bring a pen and paper to take notes.
