From the first buds of spring to that last dying leaf on the tree, we all respond to the beauty of leaves. Their vast colors, shapes, varieties, and sizes inspire and delight us. In this workshop, participants will cut several leaf shapes, then collage them onto fabric dyed in a beautiful seasonal colorway. The collage is simple, yet elegant, and is naturally suited for the quiet reflection of passing seasons. The specially hand-dyed, 100% cotton and silk fabrics are provided in a kit, so only a few supplies are necessary to enjoy the experience.

Students may park in the Farmer’s Market lot next to the Museum or take the free National Quilt Museum van to and from the Convention Center. The van runs from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and picks up at the AQS Shuttle Stop.
