Join AQS Instructors Tula Pink and Kris Vierra as you enjoy a real Amish experience at the Smucker family farm. Here is your unique opportunity to connect with a Lancaster County farm family and the delicious bounty from their land. Imagine this: a full-course meal (barbequed chicken and grilled corn on the cob, angel food cake with fresh berries, mini-whoopie pies, and more) all served under a big tent among the rows of corn. Musical entertainment around a bonfire hosted by a member of the Smucker family will make this an experience you’ll remember forever. AQS Executive Show Director Bonnie Browning and AQS Director of Education Liz Hammonds will also be in attendance. Enjoy a Lancaster dining experience and chat with your favorite quiltmakers!
Note: Requires ability to ride on hay ride and walk on uneven ground.
Arrive at the Bird-in-Hand Restaurant at 5:00 p.m.; at 5:15 p.m., transportation to/from the farm is provided by tractor-pulled wagons with straw bales for seating.
