Sue’s very popular quilt LE PANIER DE FLEURS was inspired by a French 17th-century cutwork embroidery in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. In this workshop, students will work on a smaller, simplified version of the center block to create their own wall quilt. Learn Sue’s stitched raw-edge machine appliqué technique that allows you to create this beautiful project! Students will begin the preparation and the machine stitching of the block during class. In demo format, students will see how to complete the project, including the unique scalloped border.
Registration for this class includes show admission for Thursday.
