Add dimension, interest, and personality to your quilt design with micro quilting! Feel the difference between stitch regulation settings and experiment with many designs as you stitch in miniature in this class. From microstippling to pebbles, radiator coils, and more, Sarah will help you navigate through the many miniature options and also show you how to combine average-sized designs with micro quilting to achieve a stunning finished result. Just like handwriting, everyone’s microquilting will have its own unique variations, so there’s no wrong way to achieve your micro-quilted “signature.” Sarah will also discuss and demonstrate how thread can impact and change the appearance of your quilting. You will be sharing a BERNINA Q20 sit-down longarm machine with a partner in this hands-on class. The skills taught in this class are transferable to your home domestic sewing machine. Two people per machine.
