After years of longarm quilting, Sue has developed a few skills that she would like to share. This class covers everything starting with mounting and floating and squaring off a quilt so that it is square every time (regardless of how not-so-square it may have been when it arrived). Sue will show you ways of manipulating fabric on those not-so-perfect tops to make them lie flat without causing any puckers, pleats, or stress. She will also share her tips on getting perfect tension with every type of thread, on every machine brand, using the right size of needle for the thread and fabric you are working with, and on using three degrees of tension to achieve the perfect look for every quilt. Learn how to make your borders look like they were quilted with no stops and starts without ever turning your quilt, plus so much more. Join in the fun and learn tips and tricks that are sure to have you smiling and saying, “no problem, I can quilt that out!”
